It is amazing how bacteria fight with the defense/immune system.
Here are few strategies bacteria use:

  1. Escape from the phagolysosomal compartment and digestive enzymes, which is defense ammunition of host cells
  2. Inhibit Phagolysosomal fusion
  3. Neutralize the lysosomal enzymes
  4. Prepare specialized hiding compartments
